DCC RPG Delay is Worth the Wait

In case it was missed,  Joseph Goodman discreetly announced that DCC will be delayed  until April of 2012. As one of a small group of third-party publishers, I've gotten a look at the latest draft of the Dungeon Crawl Classics  rpg and it's my unsolicited opinion that the end result is well worth the wait. The jump in quality from the last version I've seen to this latest draft is huge. I know it's frustrating to see a release date slip further into the future. Hey, it's the reason I refused to put a month on that "2012" release for Transylvanian Adventures and The Transylvanian Grimoire . But patience, in this regard, will be well-rewarded. Joseph is putting together a landmark release in 2012. He's dimension doored his way out of the "retroclone" pack and is quietly assembling a game that will be in the conversation for an Origins or Ennie award. No joke. It's looking that good.
